They can be funny, inspiring, truthful, profound, or somehow, all of the above. There is no shortage of quotes out there, and they’re definitely not all created equal. But when you find the good ones, they stay with you, and can teach us a lot about life and friendship; what to stand for, what to accept, what to walk away from, as well as how to conduct our own behaviour.
We’ve done some digging through the masses on the internet and narrowed it down to ten of our favourite quotes about life and friendship. From Dr. Seuss to Maya Angelou, these quotes hit the nail on the head when it comes to living your best life.
“True friendship comes when the silence between two people is comfortable.”
~ David Tyson Gentry

“The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it.”
~ Hubert H. Humphrey
“I think if I’ve learned anything about friendship, it’s to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don’t walk away, don’t be distracted, don’t be too busy or tired, don’t take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together.”
~ Jon Katz
“We don’t stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.”
~ George Bernard Shaw

~ Simon Sinek
